Kevin Cunanan Chappelle is a Brooklyn-based artist who explores how digital technologies reshape perception and presence. Much of their work embraces AI-generated imagery as a medium of abstraction and discovery—its glitches and imperfections having the same tacit beauty of wood grain or eroded stone. Influenced by Zen Buddhism and other ancient spiritual traditions, their work resists the increasingly polished aesthetics of the digital age, instead revealing beauty in randomness, decay, and the unknowable.
